Who is this bootcamp for?
Here's the deal. This system that I created works for literally everyone. I have tested and refine and implement this for years with students from every background. I am not another instructor or photographer here to show you what works for me. You're not me. This will work for you! For. You.
This is a step by step guide to building your legacy catalog, one that captures and preserves EVERY photo you have ever taken and ever will. Each of you are at difference stages of your journey and wherever you on your path, this will apply and be of great help to you. I have yet to work with a student where this didn't work for them.
Do I need Lightroom Experience?
No but it helps. You'll pick things up faster if you have a general understanding but we will be building a master catalog literally from scratch. The right way. So it never needs to be done again. You can follow along and take every step I do and start off on the right foot. I wish I had this when I first got started.
If you already know the basics, you’ll get a deep dive into automations, AI-driven tools, and advanced editing techniques to take your workflow to the next level.
What software do I need?
We'll be using Lightroom Classic (part of Adobe’s Photography Plan) mostly however we will be using all of Adobe's Lightroom products. I'm going to demonstrate they can all be used together.
Should I be using LR Classic or LR Desktop?
We'll be using Lightroom classic. With the FLOW that I just developed, I essentially merged the two in the best possible way so there's no more compromise. Lightroom classic has more robust features and more power under the hood and I built in solutions to offer the cloud capabilities that's available in the desktop version but not in classic and make it available. We can use AI search, auto tagging and being able to sync ALL of our photos, anywhere to any device is all now possible alongside all of the features that Classic offers. This turns Lightroom Classic into Lightroom Contemporary.
What if I already have a catalog? Do I need to start over?
Nope. Only if you want to. Know that I will be starting the course where many of you are now, somewhere on the spectrum between chaos and control. I'm going to lay out exactly how most of us got here (please chime in here too :) and then walk you through how to fix it. Step by step. Then we'll do an assessment to determine the next best step... Shore up or demo and start with a new solid foundation. Also, you never fully start over. I'm going to show you how to work with what you currently have, save all of the information, and then have Lightroom use it to automatically build you a better system. This needs to be done carefully though. I'll walk you through it.
What if I can't attend live?
No problem. This is the cool part. Not only are all sessions recorded, they will be transcribed and completely searchable. By typing in a single word, you'll jump right to the section it was discussed and then be able to play it back instantly. Further, the entire course will be analyzed and synthesized using AI so you can ask VC (Virtual Cliff) questions and he'll give you answers!
You’ll have unlimited replay access, so you can watch at your convenience.
If you have questions after watching the replay, you'll have access to the community where they'll be answered.
Tell me about the Academy. Do I need it?

How technical is the bootcamp content? I'm not a techie.
I got you covered. Simplicity is the highest form of sophistication. The reason why the bootcamp exists is to literally walk you through how to build an ecosystem that manages itself. once it's built, there is no option anything like this to simplify, streamline and automate your workflow by completely removing the work.
There is work required to set this up which is why we're here. I walk you. through step by step, and you can follow along and ask questions. I have explored literally every avenue and even custom designed solutions with the sole purpose of removing complexity so you can focus on curating and creating. I totally here ya. I feel ya too! The Bootcamp is designed to reduce the technical overwhelm, not add to it. Every aspect of this class was designed to break things down and simplify core concepts. Things should be as simple as possible, just no simpler. Trust me when I say, this workflow is as simple as it can possible get. No simpler :)
I even took notes for you ahead of time and will be walking through them, revising them on the fly with you as we go so you can focus on the content rather than keeping notes. These will be shared with you.
Beyond that, the best part is that the entire course will be summarized through AI with detailed notes and links taking to each section of the video the notes came from. Every single question is documented with a live link back to that part of the video. It's wild.
What about editing?
The Art of the Edit is a core focus of the bootcamp. This is the primary focus of Day 2 where we'll be working on YOUR images. The Academy is there to get you to take action and give you more support when you edit you own images. Learning how to drive is one thing. Getting behind the wheel is another. I'm here to help you steer when you need it to keep you headed in the right direction. Your CPS to the rescue! You can post them in the lounge and get feedback from myself and the group. This is a safe place to do so.
How do I access everything after the bootcamp?
All video replays, bonus materials, worksheets, and Q&As will be posted to the Academy online platform. You’ll receive a private login and have lifetime access to the Bootcamp materials. If you join the Bootcamp, you also gain access to the Academy, the community forum and weekly live check-ins plus all of the other resources
What else do I get when I sign up for the bootcamp?

Can I submit images for critique?
Absolutely! You're encouraged to submit 5–10 images before the bootcamp begins. I'll be using them throughout the course, especially on Day 2 when we take a deep dive into editing. My goal is to edit as many of YOUR images as possible!
I noticed you use a mac. I'm on a windows PC.
No problem at all. I do use a mac but just about every key and shortcut is identical across platforms. Every feature I cover and just about every plugin as well is available on both platforms.
What about my smartphone? iPhone? Android?
